These photographs were made in Aniane, in the south of France, when riders from the Camargue unexpectedly entered the village and released a young bull through the streets. It was not a planned or scheduled event, but a sudden interruption to everyday life.
The work observes how an external culture passed through everyday public space, and how people adjusted in real time as it unfolded.
